Causeway Dulcimer Festival, Bushmills 2005!

In 2005 I organised the Causeway Dulcimer Festival in Bushmills to raise the profile of the Hammered Dulcimer, an instrument which had been made & played in the Glens of County Antrim for many years, but is now, sadly, almost extinct.

Here are a few photos, taken at various musical events in Bushmills during the festival by local photographer Art Ward, to give you a flavour of just how successful it was. These photos feature musicians who travelled from Scotland, England and America as well as many local musicians, from various parts of Ireland.
